Join us at the West Bay Holiday Inn Conference Center in beautiful downtown Traverse City for our annual MAHO conference.

The schedule is as follows:

Thursday June 2nd 2011

8:00-8:45 AM- Registration and continental breakfast.

8:45 AM-Welcome and announcements by Eric Jordan, MAHO President

9:00 AM- 12:00PM-Larry Pickel from Washtenaw Community College will give us an update on the International Residential Code that is ACT 54
approved. This will be beneficial to all that perform residential inspections and that are ICC certified.

12:00-1:00PM-A wonderful lunch will be provided by our hosts at the Holiday Inn Conference Center

1:00PM-4:00PM- Sarah Lucas from the Northwest Michigan Council of Governments will speak to us about affordable housing policies and urban
planning in Michigan. We may even be able to take a tour of some of the developments that the Northwest Michigan Council of Governments has
assisted in developing. We are still trying to work out the logistics.

4:00-5:00PM-MAHO annual business meeting and prize give away.

5:00-A grilled picnic styled dinner will be served underneath the willow tree on the west bay shore.

After dinner is free time to explore and shop downtown Traverse City, play nine holes on one of the many area golf courses, or play beach
volleyball right on the beach!

Friday June 3rd 2011

8:00-8:30AM-Continental Breakfast.

8:30-9:00AM Room Check Out

9:00-12:00PM-City of Grand Rapids Michigan Deputy City Attorney Elizabeth White will give an informative and educational class on the
legal aspects of inspections and court procedures.

12:00PM-Conference adjourned-Drive safe!
