As of October 2002, MAHO has 188 members from many
areas of Michigan. MAHO provides high quality educational
opportunities at a reasonable cost for our members.
Annual
membership dues are valid from January 1st through December 31st
each year. Individual memberships may be paid at anytime during the
year. You must be a member to attend training seminars.
Individual
memberships are $25 each. Institutional membership fees are
available for municipalities with more than five members and must be
paid by January 31st each year. Institutional memberships are $25
each for the first five members and no cost to additional members.
(To be eligible for this reduced rate structure, all
institutional membership forms must be submitted together.)

BYLAW CHANGES
June 12, 2008
Whereas: The MAHO constitution and bylaws provide for an
Institutional Rate structure for dues to be assessed at the annual
membership cost for the first five members and no cost for the
remaining members for a community;
And whereas: Notice of meetings are sent to each member that require
a cost to prepare and send
And whereas: It is in the interest of the organization that
membership dues be sufficient to cover the cost to serve all
members;
Be it resolved that: Article VIII, be changed to read: “Dues. There
shall be annual membership dues for each member. Membership dues
shall include an institutional rate established for any organization
or municipality which pays for more than 5 membership dues and
submits all such applications together. The cost of all dues for
each category of membership and dues rate shall be established by
the Board of Directors.
